B2B Device Leasing for Indian Enterprises
The brief.
A B2B leasing model where employees pick devices through their company's benefits portal and the company handles deduction through payroll. Capex purchases turn into op-ex subscriptions.
The problem.
Device refresh in Indian companies is a capex event with awkward depreciation, weak buy-back markets, and friction for the employee who actually picks the phone or laptop. Procurement teams and end users end up on opposite sides of the same transaction.
What I did.
Designed the corporate-employee-lessor structure end-to-end: ownership, residual options, insurance, return logistics, and the payroll integration that makes the whole thing zero-effort for the employee. Built a small founding team. Onboarded the first cohort.
Where it stands.
Three companies on active leases. Lessor portal in private beta. Building from Gurgaon.
